GENDER PERSPECTIVES
ON MIGRANT ISSUES

FORUM will contemplate the Intercultural perspective as a transversal axis, fostering intercultural dialogue in every action, ensuring the participation of people from different origins as experts and participants. A gender perspective will be implemented in all aspects of the project, paying particular attention to the situation of women and the access to rights.

RISE OF
EXTREMISM

FORUM  will combat the stigmatization of migrant, refugees and asylum seekers, with especial attention to migrant women, through the encouragement of democratic and civic participation of citizens at Union level, particularly within groups that are less involved in the Union policy making-process, as young people, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

PARTICIPATION

The encouragement of democratic and civic participation of young people, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, with special attention to migrant women, will foster European citizenship and will improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at Union level. Regarding the priorities of the Program, FORUM will attempt to face the rise of extremism and populism, strongly linked to  Euroscepticism, as one of the biggest challenges of the European Union.

EU POLICY
IMPACT

FORUM will propose intercultural debates, based on an extensive knowledge of EU policies, as a practical solution to combat stigmatization, founded by the cooperation of policy makers and citizens, including young people, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers at European level.
