March 30 was the last day of the Online Course "Human Trafficking and Exploitation of Women in Migratory Context", organised by CICODE of the UGR in the frames of FORUM project. There were more than 40 attendees, who were engaged and with very active participation. During this Course, along 6 sessions, we could acquire deeper knowledge about this phenomenom, thanks to Amaranta Foundation, NGO especialized in assistance and care of victims of human trafficking. On February 5th, more than 30 women and men took part in this meeting. They met in the Maison de Quartier Sainte Geneviève (Marseille) invited by our partner Forum Femmes Méditerranée to discuss about the demands and claims related to migrant women. This event, which took place in Verona, Italy, on October 13th, involved 29 participants from that city and one from Belgium. The objective of the conference was to give a national panoramic of extremism and populism and then discuss and confront each other on their impact and evolution in Verona. The guests were Malora Rivista, digital platform built by journalists trying to build a new narrative and InfoSpazio 161, a space of resistance that deals with social issues. On Tuesday 23rd of November, the book launch of Migraciones y población africana en España. Historias, relatos y prácticas de resistencia (Migrations and the African Population in Spain. Histories, stories and the resistance practices), coordinated by José Manuel Maroto Blanco and Rosalía López Fernández was presented with the participation of more than 40 attendees. Despite the melting pot of contemporary societies, women are the ones who suffer and face most obstacles, difficulties, prejudices, discrimination and violence. In particular, migrant women face multiple discriminations in their daily lives, primarily for being foreigners or belonging to minority groups. The woman are often a physical, political and social battlefield, but they have an ability to build and created unity with others. On October 27th, 2021, the discussion group "Taking action against human trafficking: Approaches and Support Processes for Survivors and Victims", organised by CEIM and Mujeres en Zona de Conflicto (MZC) took place in Sevilla, counting on 30 participants from different fields directly involved in the attention and work with migrant women at risk of sexual and labour exploitation and potential victims of human trafficking. On Wednesday 13 October, the Webinar Anti-human rights policies and hate speech, organised by the Centre of Studies and Research Women (CEIM), was celebrated, with the participation of more than 30 attendees. On Friday 1st October 2021, the Mediterranean Women's Forum organised a day dedicated to Rights of Migrant Women in the European Union. This day consisted of a training session on access to migrant women's rights, followed in the afternoon by an intercultural dialogue café, a moment of musical exchange, and ended with the National Meeting of Migrant Women's Associations, in order to pool our resources and skills to make migrant women's demands visible in the public space. On October 6th and 7th, the Center for Development Cooperation Initiatives (University of Granada) organized the Conference "Beyond the Borders: Migrant Women and Political Participation". This activity took place in Granada and they were also broadcasted on Zoom, relying on more than 100 participants.
