Undocumented migrant women are one of the most vulnerable groups in the world, at the intersection of numerous systems of oppression. On JUNE 23rd, during the week of WORLD REFUGEE DAY, the European Network of Migrant Women brings back the focus on the women and girls who are most invisibilized.

Even though numerous legal instruments guarantee human rights for everyone in the EU soil, regardless of legal status, in practice, undocumented migrant women are excluded from this protection. Since 2020, the COVID crisis has made it even more challenging for them to access the full benefits of their protected rights.

👉 Facing this reality, the European Network of Migrant Women, in partnership with TrustLaw (Thomsons Reuters Foundation), produced a report on undocumented migrant women access to fundamental rights in 9 European countries.

👉 This report will be officially presented during our event: ACCESS TO RIGHTS BY UNDOCUMENTED MIGRANT WOMEN IN EUROPE: A NEGLECTED CHAPTER IN FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS PROTECTION.
