Act of presentation of FORUM project results - University of Granada On Tuesday 20th of December 2022, the Center for Development Cooperation Iniciatives (CICODE) of the University of Granada hosted the final act of FORUM project. The aim of the event, that invloved 20 participants , was to present the results of the project, to launch the Policy brief and tollkit “For an Equal Europe for All: Migrant women rights are human rights” and  to present the report "Borders: necropolitics, violences, racisms and migrant feminist activisms" developed in the framework of the project.

Theatre play “Las Latinas son...” On November 26 of 2022 the Center for Development Cooperation Iniciatives (CICODE) of the University of Granada organised the theatre play “Las Latinas son...” that involved 67 participants. "Las Latinas son..." is a social theatre play created by migrant women form different countries of Latin America (Abya Yala) and it shows and denounces the machismo and racism that they face in their daily life.

Despite the melting pot of contemporary societies, women are the ones who suffer and face most obstacles, difficulties, prejudices, discrimination and violence. In particular, migrant women face multiple discriminations in their daily lives, primarily for being foreigners or belonging to minority groups. The woman are often a physical, political and social battlefield, but they have an ability to build and created unity  with others.
