Despite the melting pot of contemporary societies, women are the ones who suffer and face most obstacles, difficulties, prejudices, discrimination and violence. In particular, migrant women face multiple discriminations in their daily lives, primarily for being foreigners or belonging to minority groups. The woman are often a physical, political and social battlefield, but they have an ability to build and created unity with others. By creating a network, she manages to confront her problems and rework her life by forming new paths to follow and build together with other women. July 19th, 2021, the Roundtable "Empowerment of Migrant Women" was organized by Le Fate Onlus in the frames of the European project FORUM. It took place in Verona (Italy) and it involved 10 participants from this city. The objective of the roundtable was to discuss and confront each other on what female empowerment means based on the experiences lived in Verona by social workers, citizens and, in the first place, by migrant women. On Sunday 20 June 2021, the Meeting "Stigmatization of minorities, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers" was organized by Le Fate Onlus in the frames of the European project FORUM. It took place in Verona (Italy) and it involved 10 participants from this city. The aim of this meeting was to inaugurate the project by offering, through academic experts and operators working at the borders, an overview of the migratory situation in Italy and neighbouring countries addressing national and European legislation.
